The Uruguayan meat industry, with over 100 years of exporting
experience, has a strong presence in international markets due to
dynamic technological update and permanent customization of its
products to the most different consumer requirements. Today 250,000tons of beef a year are placed in more than 60 countries worldwide.
The country's geographical location and its temperate and moderate
climate, as well as technical expertise, allow stock to be kept out in the open air the whole year round and to produce a wide range of meats of
the highest quality.
Clean air, pure water, sunshine and grass are the main ingredients used by farmers in cattle and sheep raising.
Hygienic conditions and technology meet the most exigent levels in the world. For this reason, our plants re authorized to export to the European Union (EU), and also counts with the approval of the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA). |
